5.2 Normative Boundary

Conceptual explanations and illustrative examples support implementation but do not override normative requirements. Apply Chapter 3, the applicable Transaction Definition, Chapter 4’s endpoint declarations, and the technical mappings in Appendix D together. A required element or behavior remains required even if an example omits it or an endpoint declaration does not repeat it.
