1.1 Purpose

The MAP Framework provides a reusable architecture for defining interoperable information exchange using Direct. It establishes common conventions for identifying participating parties, defining shared exchange activities, organizing information and metadata, specifying transaction processing responsibilities, and communicating endpoint capabilities.
